About Us

We are a communications consultancy that boosts individuals and businesses by initiating positive conversations, sharpening communication and opening dialogue.

Put simply, we help ambitious individuals and businesses grow by getting people talking about what they do and by prioritising partnerships. We get results through clear messaging and creative communication, skillfully brought to life.
Our imaginative but achievable ideas, investment in relationships, belief in others and genuine excitement for what our clients do is what makes us different.

How did it all start?

Emma Price, Founder of Be Heard Media, had always dreamt of setting up her own business. Her drive – she wanted to make a positive impact and partner with clients who have a genuine belief in what they do.
After spending over 15 years working in communications, both agency and client side, she decided to make this happen. In October 2013, she set up Be Heard Media, a communications consultancy that supports a range of organisations and individuals to boost engagement, inspire action and encourage growth.
Emma enjoys the challenge of communicating a brand – and its values – to enhance organisational reputation.

Communication Breakdown – Forget Command And Control

Last week, I met a client to discuss their approach to internal communications and the command and control approach was quite the topic of conversation. In my view trying to impose a command and control structure just doesn’t work. Think about[...]

The Power Of A Positive Work Environment

“It is the organisations that are using their work environment to engage with their people that are reaping the benefits,” according to Kursty Groves, Author of Spaces For Innovation and Workplace Consultant. Workspace was the topic of[...]

A Worklife Less Ordinary

Future Talent – be the best that you can be

Last month I had the privilege of attending Changeboard’s Future Talent Conference 2016 and meeting some of their inspiring speakers. Over 700 HR and talent management professionals attended the event at Sadler’s Wells to hear from the likes of wellbeing[...]

What are you really contributing?

Having worked as a consultant for almost ten years I am naturally very output driven. Two key questions I ask myself and my team regularly are “What are you doing?” & “What value will it add?”. Why do I ask these questions?[...]

We all deserve to be heard

How many meetings have you attended and how many discussions have you had with your friends and family where people shout over one another, all of them fighting to be heard? Personally, I have lost count!  I’m not claiming to be innocent. I am just as[...]

The colours of marketing

I spent Saturday evening with a good friend and a bottle of red wine. Our conversation meandered through a multitude of topics – work, life, food, good wine and then, after our third glass of beautiful Chilean red, it took a more sinister turn: “I’m[...]

Two years on

It’s hard to believe it: Be Heard Media is now two years old! What a fabulous two years it’s been. Yes, there have been challenges and at times frustrations but this was all part of the journey. We have worked with some truly amazing clients and been[...]

Time stands still…

Sometimes we need to hit the pause button Albert Einstein said, “He who can no longer pause to wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead; his eyes are closed.” Wise words from Einstein, it is just a shame so many of us fail to do so. Sometimes we[...]

Could a Game Changer be your answer to innovation?

Innovation is essential in today’s digital world. Businesses need to constantly develop new products and new ways of doing things, or ways to make what they are doing better, if they are to survive long-term.  They need to adapt, be flexible and shift[...]

Let’s work together to get the right message out there…

This is what those we work with say about us...

Be Heard Media has achieved results from day one and been nothing short of brilliant with their strategies to promote eg.1 and the Game Changer movement. Emma and her team have taken our ideas around Game Changers and transformed them into more than we could have imagined - they are innovative, exciting, and always focused on finding new ways to help us achieve success. They keep us motivated and have been there every step of the way, providing an invaluable service, helping us to run targeted communication and PR projects to support our key objectives in terms of increasing sales and raising brand awareness. We have seen tremendous growth of interest in The GC Index and brand recognition for eg.1 over the past year and are looking forward to building further momentum for our brand through our partnership with Emma and her team. I strongly recommend Be Heard Media for anyone starting up, starting over or wanting to stand out from the crowd.
